Love in the Palm of Your Hand
I get asked a lot by my clients if love can be found in the palm of the hand and if so, what does it tell me? Other clients ask me if love for them is shown in the hand or, will I get married or find a life partner cum soul mate?
Whilst others still ask me if they are being deceived in love.
Considering it is close to Valentine’s day, let’s leave the deceit question out for now, shall we?
Well, I can tell you that all these questions can be found amongst the lines and mounts in the hands.
And here’s where.
The basic places love and long-term relationships can usually be found in the hand are as follows;
The heart line
The marriage lines
The mount of venus
Of course, attitudes to one’s love life, which can be intricately important, can be found in the mercury finger, the mount of luna, the mount of mars and the girdle of venus. But for the purpose of this blog we shall just stick to the first three.
The HeartLine
The heart line starts at the side of hand under the mecury (little) finger. This one shown is displaying what I call a drooping island.
In this particular case this was not revealing what an island would usually depict which is a bad or unhappy time in love, but an actual heart defect.
This line shows how somebody loves. For example, a straight heartline will usually indicate a person who expresses their love and devotion using their mind. So the use of words for them will be their preferred love language.

If the line is straight and short, ending underneath the saturn (middle) finger, they can be prone to selfishness.
Straight and long, stretching across the palm, they can be insecure and prone to strong bouts of jealousy.
If the line curves upwards at the end, and rests on the mount of Jupiter (below the first finger) they will be more your demonstrative lover, somebody who shows you they care through actions.
Should the heart line curve too far upwards and rest almost on the first finger itself this can show somebody who will never marry anyone they deem ‘below their status’. It can also reveal somebody who places their lovers on the proverbial pedestal.
Other signs on the heartline can show disappointments, severe heartbreaks, and smaller liaisons.
An island on the heartline can depict a time of grave unhappiness in the client’s love life. It can also portray an illness, depending where on the line and under which mount the island appears, its strength and length etc.
The Marriage (Union) Lines
These are the fine lines that run horizontally between the base of the mercury (little) finger and the beginning of the heart line.
Now these aren’t always clearly defined and they don’t show every lover we have ever had. Sometimes in fact, they don’t even reveal the exact number of marriages a person has had in their lifetime either.
(If the latter is the case, there will be other markings in the hand that when put together, will tell you as a reader, why this is the case)

As a very general rule, if the line is straight and strong, the marriage or partnership will be strong also and long lasting.
If the line stretches out into the palm and touches the Line of Success, this can mean the partnership will be in the public eye or extremely successful in a material kind of way.
Should the marriage line break the line of Success it can foreshadow their partner could ruin them financially (other marks would confirm this).
A drooping line will show disappointment in love.
A break in a marriage line equals a break in the relationship. If the two lines overlap in the break, there will be a reconciliation and sometimes a second marriage or repeated wedding vows.
A bar at the end of the marriage line, as if stopping it from going any further, will mean an abrupt ending to the partnership or union.
The Mount of Venus
This mount is the mount of love and the energy they bring to any relationship (but especially a love one).
When this mount is fleshy, firm and reddish in colour the person possess great physical prowess and will often be the first to instigate any physical actions (especially in the bedroom)
When this mount is the same as above but soft and flabby, the person will like a lot of physical attention in their relationship, but will rarely instigate it!
If it is hard and shallow their drive for physicality in their relationship will be greatly reduced.
An important factor to note here is also the size of this amount. This can be affected by how the lifeline encircles the mount.
If the lifeline sweeps out and curves back around to below the thumb this will enlarge the mount. The same rule can apply if the life line runs as a straighter line out into the palm.
If it appears the life line almost hugs the mount of venus this will also reduce the space the mount of venus takes on the palm.

Conclusion
Yes, my friends, love in all its beautiful forms certainly is shown in the palm of your hand along with possible deceit, infidelity, divorce, sudden loss, sexual appetite, selfishness and jealousy.
Think about it for a moment. Why wouldn’t all these things be shown in your hand? These traits I have just mentioned above are the very fabrics of life that can affect us all positively or negatively.
As always with palmistry, it is rarely one sign on its own that will tell you the whole picture. It will more than likely be a combination of signs and marks that will reveal the whole picture.
And lastly, it is the readers ability to detect, feel and read the energy of the person whose hand they are interpreting that will produce correct insights. And of course, they must rely more on their intuition than anything else.
When the reader does that, trust me, your reading will be exceptionally accurate.
