Too Much Negativity
There is far too much negativity around these days. You must try and control how much of this crap gets in to your head. And it's imperative that you do. Here's why.

I don’t know about you, but I would say that there seems to be too much negativity around these days? You probably see it yourself, invading every space available; the T.V., social media channels like Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts and, at every single hour, if you are listening to the radio.
There is just no escaping it. Yet, to escape its influence we must. At all costs. You see, human beings are already naturally inclined to think negatively, and we are also programmed to think the worst too by well-meaning parents, teachers and those around us. So it is imperative we try and lessen the negative messages we hear and see, the best that we can. You see, too much negativity is harmful to your mind, your mood and your vibe, whether you realise it or not.
Facebook, a few years ago, conducted a study through their million or so fake profiles (they use these accounts to study many things) to try and calculate the impact a negative post would have on its readers. Each time one of these fake profiles posted something negative to their timelines, Facebook ensured that their friend’s lists would see the post (they play with the algorithms to ensure they do see it).
The Results?
Lo and behold, a whopping 71% soon posted something negative to their own timelines. This test showed that just one or two gloomy posts from friends can alter the mood of the reader. Now can you imagine the influence of several TikTok videos where it is being negative in nature, could influence your mood and how you think? Now add to this, the news you have heard on the radio, watched on the TV or uttered by those people close to you?
"Your vibe attracts your tribe"
Can you imagine the impact this is going to have on your vibe? Or on your aura? Like attracts like. You become a magnet for even more negativity. Your aura is dulled. Your vibe is muted. Am I suggesting you never watch the news? Well, yes and no. If you need to be up to date with current affairs, then of course, you will need to watch it. Better still, read the papers instead, that way you can control what news is being fed to you.
The somewhat hidden influence of all this negativity we consume affects us in myriad of ways. Just let me give you one quick example how.
Good People Lost Their Jobs...
I remember a time when I was in sales many years ago. There was a recession sweeping the land at the time and I was, of course, aware of it. However, for about 18-months or so I did not watch the news, I read it instead, now and again. That way I was in complete control of what I was being fed. I witnessed many good sales executives fall by the way during this time. As one sales guy said to me once,
“People can’t afford to take holidays with this recession, Rob, It’s really bad. I’ve seen on the news that people simply cannot afford to take a break away from it all.”
I had the opposite attitude. I wanted my customers to go away so they could get away from it all. I experienced bumper sales and achieved the 2nd highest net sales figures for the company, 2 years running. I refused to be influenced by all this recession malarkey. When the customers came to see my presentation they instantly and subconsciously knew that my vibe, my aura, was clean and pure. And people love buying from people who transmit this positivity.
So remember, if you must be au fait with what’s going on in the world, then read rather than watch. You’ll see that other people are magnetically drawn to you without really knowing why they are. But you'll know why.
And of course, you'll feel so much better too.
