The Man Who Was Told He Was Going to Die

More than 22 years ago, I read the hands of a man who had been told he was going to die. Here’s how it started.

Yes, 20 plus years ago now I was giving readings at my Birmingham office, a lovely second floor over the reception of an M.O.T. garage, run by some lovely Afghans. I was lucky to rent this place as it was on a main road that ran into the city centre so it was easily found. It never smelt of engine oil or old overalls and surprisingly, it was extremely quiet giving readings up there.

It was also decorated to my liking too. One of the main benefits of my space being quite large was the fact that my desk was right opposite and to the side of the doorway where my client’s entered.

This was a great location to have the entrance because I could watch the facial expressions and walking style of my clients for a good 3 or 4 seconds before they even sat down.

Anyway. I digress...

Back to the man who was told he was going to die.

This young man had texted me a couple of days before for his appointment and he showed up right on time.As soon as he was walking toward me and saying hello I could feel his nervous energy and I spotted the worried look on his face that he thought was hidden behind his smiling salutation.

Many people can come to see me with different levels of apprehension and I get that. But this young man’s angst at coming to see me seemed abnormally high.

My Electric Shock

I put out my hand and shook his hand firmly whilst asking him to please be seated. I got my customary ‘electric shock’ as our hands met, which reinforced my first impression still further. He handed me over the earlier agreed £30 fee in cash (a high amount for a reading back then) and I placed it in my drawer.

Apart from saying hello, please take a seat and this is what’s going to happen, I do not talk to my clients during a reading unless they interrupt me and ask a question. Despite his unease at being there to see me, I made no exception to this rule. Sitting beside me I got hold of his two hands and turned them over to reveal his palms.

Immediately, I saw the exact reason why he was now sweating and totally worried. His lifeline in his left hand was broken but the breaks overlapped. There was no such break in his right hand.

He had a huge influence line running into his fate line and a strong travel line on his mount of Luna. His success line in his right hand showed the same promise as in his left except it was actually stronger and better defined.

His hands, in those first few seconds blended with my super intuition told me to instantly say something along the following lines;

“John, [I can’t remember his name], wow, you are about to get a great offer to go abroad, probably Australia in the next 18 months or so. You are not going to die. This opportunity will be offered to you via a family member and my advice to you would be to take it. It will go brilliantly well for you and you’ll even meet your future wife not long after arriving. Don’t dilly-dally, the other psychic you saw was completely wrong. You are not going to die. Take the person's hand off and don’t look back! I promise you it will go 5 times better than what you are being told”

All my readings go like this when I am reading palms. I can jump from topic to topic in rapid succession and I don’t pause to make sense of anything. That can be done afterwards. It’s just how my intuition works.

John pulled his hands away from mine as I was finishing the last couple of words. He quickly asked me how sure I was with my prediction. I told him my accuracy overall in a reading was around 85% but for this I was 100% positive in what I saw.

I now saw the tears coming down his face. He was 31 years old when he came to see me and just a few months shy of his 32nd year.

He proceeded to tell me that when he was 27 he had gone to see a psychic as his life was upside down and he wanted some clarity.

This reader categorically told him he would not live past his 32rd year and even showed him his broken life line. Later in the reading she tried to backpeddle when she finally saw how upset he was getting over her death prediction.

It was too late because the damage had already been done and he spent years of sleepless nights and endless worry wondering just how he was going to die. He refused to settle down in a relationship as he did not want to leave anyone widowed, especially as he knew what his fate spelt.

He then told me that his Uncle out in Australia wanted him to go over there and do some P.R. and marketing for his business and if all went well to be a partner. He had only recently asked him to go and if he accepted, his uncle would get his ticket for January the following year.

Five months after turning 32.

John didn’t need to know anymore. He got up and put his hand out to shake mine and as I was raising mine, he instead gave me one massive hug, thanked me again and left.

He was with me for about probably 10 minutes or so. I offered him some of his fee back which he steadfastly refused (proving to me it’s not the time you are paying a reader for it’s their experience and the quality of what they tell you. That’s what matters most).

Do I ever see death in the hand? Yes, I have a few times, including family members. Do I predict it? No I do not. Never, ever. Not anymore (but that’s for another article coming soon. I was very young and totally inexperienced).

There are only a few reading details that actually stay with me. In 98% of cases I totally forget what I’ve said the moment my client leaves my presence. But incidences like this one do stay with me. For a very long time.

What to Note About This Article

There are a couple of takeaways here for you.

If you are the client getting a reading and a prediction like this one, or similar, is given to you then I would suggest you halt the reading immediately. I would then ask you to go and get a 2nd opinion. Fast.

Secondly, if you are a new reader, never, ever, never, predict death. Why? Well, for the reasons I have just written about. It is so unfair to the client as they can self-prophesy and bring their reading into a catastrophic and premature reality.

You might be very, very wrong. The consequences for giving such doom predictions can have far reaching and harmful consequences. Mainly for the client. But also for you too.
