What Keeps Your Intuition Open?

What keeps your intuition open? (I am presuming you are using yours). Being a master seer, my intuition is almost always open; always reading signs, looking for patterns, reading a worried face in my local cafe, or how fast somebody is walking past the same coffee shop window.

As a direct descendent of English Romany Gypsies, I guess I was fortunate enough to be blessed with heightened intuiton. But that doesn't mean I don't do things that I know will keep it healthy and fine-tuned.

For example, I use creative visualisation every day. This is where I sit and talk to my subconscious mind. This ensures that mine is kept sharp. I love going to my quiet room, a room I have created and developed in my mind.

Although I love these daily sessions, there is something else that works even better for keeping my spider senses alive and kicking.

And it may well help you get in touch with your intuition (we all have it in abundance, no matter your star sign) and especially if you are a Piscean, Cancerian or Scorpion as these are all water signs.

Walking by the Canal Side

Yes, for me, my go to intuition enhancing space is by the water. Anything bigger than a puddle will suffice. But the bigger the water expanse the better.

That's why I love going to the beach.

But in my hometown, of Rudheath, Northwich, I walk by the Broken Cross pub at the canal side.

Some of my Romany ancestors were "Water Gypsies", travelling the canals in the midlands. Maybe that's another reason why I like the canals and narrow boats so much.

But just being by the water, when I'm fully present, allows my intuition to really flow. I feel all tingly inside.

3 benefits of Using Your Intuition

1) Reading People - when your intuition is sharp, you'll know who and who you can't trust.

My brother once told me about a new friend he had met and what a funny chap he was and just generally talking him up. I met him by chance a few days later and I shook his hand on meeting him.

Immediately, I got a clear picture of this 'lovely bloke'. Later, I called my brother and told him not to hang out with this guy. I told him he was the type to turn violent against his friends.

Two weeks later, after leaving the pub, this 'lovely chap' beat my brother up and and literally kicked all his front teeth out (my brother was an intellectual not a fighter).

Save Time - this might sound inconsequential but when it happens on a regular basis, it can be a godsend.

I might be travelling somewhere and although I know the route, my intuition tingles and tells me to go a longer way round. I follow my gut feeling and then find out there was an accident or some kind of jam if I had gone my normal way!

Enhanced Creativity & Problem Solving - when you are tapping into your intuition your creativity naturally increases as they are both closely linked.

2 Ways to Enhance Your Intuition

The first way to open and enhance your intuition is to find your happy place. Like I have already said, mine is water and I take my dog along the Broken Cross canal every other day.

Yours maybe, the woods, lush fields or driving at nighttime (yes, if that woirks for you).

The second and best way is to be still and quiet This does not mean you have to meditate per se, by chanting or performing rituals, but just by being still and giving your unconscious mind some respite
